"Amazing midweek unexpected experience! We were running errands and decided to grab some Mexican. Food was good; typical for what we’d have elsewhere, priced reasonably. Atmosphere is over the top - very impressed. Ambiance goes a long way for us, and we truly had an experience. Perfect signature margarita is a must! Service is great, very attentive. Maria took amazing care of us. We’ll definitely be back!"

"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely blown away by this new New Mexican restaurant in town! From the moment we walked in, we knew this wasn’t your “typical” Mexican spot. The atmosphere is super cool—modern and vibrant with amazing design, decor, and upbeat music. It’s got that artisan vibe where every detail feels intentional and elevated. The menu is top-notch, with creative, high-quality dishes that are beautifully presented—seriously, the food comes out looking like art. The prices are more than fair for the quality and experience you get. Service was outstanding across the board. Our waiter Sam was friendly and knowledgeable, Stacy at the bar made incredible cocktails, and Zaul, the General Manager, clearly runs a well organized business. You can tell the entire team genuinely cares about creating an unforgettable experience. Oh—and if you’re celebrating a birthday, don’t miss it! Their glow-light birthday celebrations are ridiculously fun and unlike anything else around. This place instantly jumped into my Top 3 favorite restaurants in Gaston County, right up there with Everyday Market in downtown Belmont and Barristers in downtown Gastonia. If you haven’t been yet, go now. You’re going to love it! PS - best plantains I’ve ever had!!"

"The atmosphere was very modern and the decor beautifully detailed. Servers all were smiling and pleasant. They had the best passionfruit Mojito I have ever had. I had three. :) the food service and quality was all superb!!! Came with a very large birthday group, and our orders were taken flawlessly and executed and served very quickly hot and delicious. Shout out to Stacy one of the waiters here absolutely wonderful lady, Stacy Rivera, thank you so much!!! Will definitely be back to try another item on the diversified menu."

"What a delicious meal! We stopped in for a quick lunch and were very pleased with our experience. This place is clean and well decorated. The atmosphere is top tier. Even the bathrooms were amazing. Our waitress was very attentive and provided excellent service. Our food came out hot and fresh. The guacamole was one of the best we’ve ever had. Full of flavor and you could smell the freshness from the avocados. We ordered a dish for two and we still had left overs. Excellent meal and we will be eating here again very soon."

"Totally worth the hype! Our server, Maria, was absolutely wonderful; she was sweet, funny, and patient. Their menu has such a wide variety of Latin foods and their beverages, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, are phenomenal. The atmosphere is surreal and full of faux lush greenery and flowers. It feels very secluded and private even when you’re in the middle of the restaurant. Fair warning for large parties, they only have three tables that seat six people (you probably could fit 8-9 if you tried though)."

"10/03/25, Dinner for my birthday at Casa Azul was, once again, amazingly good. Our very attentive server Kevin was very attentive to our needs. The food was amazing as well. This place is my new favorite go to restaurant for finely prepared delicious Mexican foods and crafted cocktails. The Guacamole was on of the best I’ve had! I had a delicious signature margarita and my brother had a wonderfully prepared Old Fashioned! I cannot say enough about the friendly staff and fine dining experiences that I’ve had here."

"Overall, I love the atmosphere and total vibe of the place! It was so cool. As far as the food, it was delicious. On the other hand it was definitely smaller portions for what I had and definitely a little bit more on the pricey side compared to other mexican restaurants but if compared to getting a full large meal at like McDonald’s or another fast food place it’s definitely worth the extra few dollars for a sit down place. It’s a “Mexican kitchen” so I should expect it to be a little more as far menu prices but overall, very nice and would probably go back sometime in the future"

"What a great gem of a find! Parking was adequate, the restaurant is so charming, classy and has such an authentic vibe. The drinks were really interesting as they had blinking ice cubes and they used top shelf alcohol. Our server Maria was very new to America and we had a communication gap, but, we managed and it worked out. We met the owner Angel, what a delight of an individual, he was a very hands on owner and he made sure everyone was enjoying his restaurant…all the way down to bathrooms that were meticulously clean and well thought out. The food was off the chain, real authentic Mexican food is hard to come by, but, this restaurant pulls it off with grace. We arrived at 5:30 sat right down, but by the time we left there was a line out the door of people coming to experience the restaurant. This is a highly recommend restaurant, I would advise come early so you don’t need to wait…we plan on coming back!"
